Millennium Fellowship Project: Be BP Smart
BE BP SMART is a public health initiative that advances SDG 3. It is focused on combating hypertension, a silent killer affecting millions globally. The project aims to raise awareness about hypertension, promote lifestyle modifications, and facilitate early detection through free blood pressure screenings. By combining education with action, BE BP SMART empowers individuals to take control of their health and reduces the risk of complications associated with high blood pressure.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mololuwa Akinrinle is a versatile and passion driven individual. She was born in Lagos State Nigeria on the 28th of August 2005.
When she attained her teenage years she found interests in social development, volunteering and youth involvement in driving impact.
She founded the Girl Empowerment Club in her secondary School at the age of 14 and has since then organized and participated in several gender right advocacy, skill development, and youth leadership programs.
She is a member of Junior Chamber International and has been on the executive team of JCI's National Secretariat . She is currently a medical student at the Lagos State University and is consistent in seeking out platforms that would foster youth involvement in effective and quality healthcare in Nigeria.
