" For it is in the face of adversity lie greatest opportunities.
I'm super excited about this congratulatory mail from MCN.
I applied to be a part of the 2023 fellows, but I wasn't selected.
On seeing the call for 2024 cohort, I decided to try again as persistency is one of my core values.
I'm excited that with this platform, I will be able to carry out a project that I have always wanted to do as an individual, and I look forward to all that the fellow entails. Let the impact journey begin!💃 "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Greener Generation Campaign

The Greener Generation Campaign is an idea birthed as a result of my quest to solve pressing issue in my immediate community. My passion for a cleaner and healthier environment triggered me to want to carry out this change project. The "Greener Generation Campaign" would be carried out on the street of Ajegunle, schools, and on Lagos State University, Ojo campus where students, street men and women would be enlightened on Proper waste management, Sanitation, and Hygiene. I'd be mobilizing passionate minds to join me in visiting a secondary school for sensitization and awareness amongst students. I believe when we catch them young, they'd be able to pass it on and share with their friends and relatives to imbibe the culture, too. For the campus students, I'd like to partner with initiatives to host a webinar where reputable personalities doing well in the climate and environmental space would be brought on board to come educate the students on Climate action and Environmental sanitation. With the availability of enough resources, I'd love to donate separate and identifiable recycle bins which could be strategically positioned on streets, schools, and faculties to help in reducing the rate at which people litter.
