Millennium Fellowship Project: MEDICAWARE
MEDICAWARE is a project that is targeted at addressing the deficit in health awareness, by carrying out advocacy and awareness campaigns to secondary schools, with a target audience of children/students between the ages of 10-17, with the intention of educating them about infectious and noninfectious diseases and health conditions, their modes of prevention and typical signs and symptoms. Hereby enabling them to be better informed and then also to disseminate this information amongst members of their friend groups, their family and community at large.
About the Millennium Fellow
Oduyebo Adewunmi Anthony is a fourth year Medical Student at the Lagos State University College of Medicine, Ikeja
He is driven by Purpose, Excellence and Positive Ambition. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the National Union of Lagos state Medical and Dental Students(NULMEDS) and he serves as the Liaison Officer in his College for The Nigerian Medical Students' Association (NIMSA) National Directorate on Medical Outreaches Programs where he is instrumental and plays a key role in advancing SDGs 3 and 4 in his community and Nigeria as a whole.
Oduyebo Adewunmi has always been passionate and enthusiastic about his contributions in improving the World Health care system and development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
