This rare privilege is exhilarating as it places me on a global platform from which my dreams can become reality, and my horizon can be broadened. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Medicaware
MEDICAWARE is a project that is targeted at addressing the deficit in health awareness, by carrying out advocacy and awareness campaigns to secondary schools, with a target audience of children/students between the ages of 10-17, with the intention of educating them about infectious and noninfectious diseases and health conditions, their modes of prevention and typical signs and symptoms. Hereby enabling them to be better informed and then also to disseminate this information amongst members of their friend groups, their family and community at large.
