Millennium Fellowship Project: Food For Peace
The Food for Peace project is an initiative aimed at addressing the pressing issue of food insecurity and to promote Peace in Nigeria communities. Our project seeks to equip individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to grow sustainable food crop domestically.
By providing essential farm tools and creating awareness in the importance of agriculture .
We aim to curb conflict and increase food abundance. We strive to bring peace and happiness to people in our communities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Kolawole Oyinkansola is a well-rounded student in the Department of Religions and Peace Studies at Lagos State University. Born and raised in Nigeria, commonly referred to as the 'Giant of Africa', located in West Africa, she is a certified SDGs advocate. Her passion for peace, justice, and strong institutions has ignited a strong desire within her to achieve total and positive peace worldwide. To accomplish this, she has chosen to discipline herself in Peace Studies. She joins this fellowship to make her dreams a reality and also support the UN in reaching its SDG 2030 targets.
