" “As a Nigerian undergraduate, I've encountered students ranging from "bookworms," who excel academically, to "butterflies," who thrive socially but often struggle with academics. I see myself as a "cat"—one who balances excellent grades with strategic networking. This unique perspective inspired me to establish Dream to Impact in 2023. The Millennium Fellowship represents an unparalleled opportunity to amplify this work. By collaborating with like-minded peers, I aim to enhance my systems thinking and anticipatory competence to contribute to driving societal transformation through education. With the Fellowship’s support, I will develop Dream to Impact into a model that uplifts individuals and contributes to Nigeria’s broader development goals. I am eager to embark on this journey, knowing it will turn my aspirations into tangible, impactful outcomes.” "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Laddership Programme
The Laddership programme is a mentorship connection initiative. Everyone needs a guide. Therefore, this initiative connects students and recent graduates to industry professionals in their desired career fields. We have mentors in career fields ranging from economics to finance, business, management, academia, accounting, etc. Our goal is to connect about 100 mentees to mentors in their prospective career field in a mentorship period extending at least 3 years to facilitate more economic mobility and career guidance for underprivileged young Nigerians.
