Millennium Fellowship Project: Be BP Smart

BE BP SMART is a public health initiative that advances SDG 3. It is focused on combating hypertension, a silent killer affecting millions globally. The project aims to raise awareness about hypertension, promote lifestyle modifications, and facilitate early detection through free blood pressure screenings. By combining education with action, BE BP SMART empowers individuals to take control of their health and reduces the risk of complications associated with high blood pressure.

About the Millennium Fellow

Stephinnie Adeola Dosunmu is a bright, young and versatile clinical year student at the Lagos State University College of Medicine, Nigeria. She is born and bred in the Southwestern region of Nigeria, Lagos State to be precise. Since her preschool days, she is known to speak against injustice and as she grew, and her reputation of advocacy for the health of the environment precedes her. The rebuff from others has done little to dampen this ardour. Throughout her secondary school years and her current university years, she has availed herself to this great course and is known for her resilience; she plans to continue in the future, through her outstanding leadership. Stephinnie aspires to be in a professional space where she can further cultivate these advocacies, providing her contributions to the development of the United Nations' sustainable goals.
