United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Minds: Advancing Quality Education for Sustainable Development

It is a project aimed at improving educational infrastructure, integrating sustainability into the curriculum, promoting inclusivity, and fostering environmental responsibility. The project has helped to create a dynamic and forward thinking academic environment where students are equipped to address sustainability challenges both locally and globally.

About the Millennium Fellow

Taiwo Ajayi is a highly self-motivated student of Mechanical engineering in the Lagos State University. He's a native of Oyo State in Nigeria. Taiwo has been passionate about advancing the cause of sustainable development goals in his neighbourhood, campus and state. This has led him to volunteer for different causes that advocates the popularization of these goals. His hobbies are reading and travelling.
