Millennium Fellowship Project: Be BP Smart
BE BP SMART is a public health initiative that advances SDG 3. It is focused on combating hypertension, a silent killer affecting millions globally. The project aims to raise awareness about hypertension, promote lifestyle modifications, and facilitate early detection through free blood pressure screenings. By combining education with action, BE BP SMART empowers individuals to take control of their health and reduces the risk of complications associated with high blood pressure.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ibitoye Taofikat Arinola is a diligent, humble, brilliant, and inspiring young lady. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, she studies Dentistry at Lagos State University College of Medicine. Taofikat is an enthusiastic volunteer, participating in medical outreaches, community clean-ups, and social impact projects. She's an aspiring leader with leadership training experience. Taofikat is passionate about sustainable cities and communities and aspires to be part of a community that contributes to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
