United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Educate A Child Initiative

Educate A Child Initiative is set to remind students at various levels but more especially secondary school students on what Education is and it's significance to themselves, family and the society.

About the Millennium Fellow

Busayo Olaniyan is a part 4 medical student at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso,Oyo State, Nigeria. Busayo is passionate about mitigating the lackadaisical attitude of Nigerian mothers towards immunization . As a resident of a town in South West Nigeria, she's concerned about how children come down with poliomyelitis and other diseased conditions that would normally be averted . Through her project, she hopes to encourage mothers and keep their eyes opened to the beneficial effect of vaccination . After she graduates, Busayo plans to specialize in community health in a field regarding the third sustainable development goal which is maintaining healthy living and wellness.
