Millennium Fellowship Project: The Girl's Guide Initiative
The girl's guide Initiative is aimed at empowering girls through active participation in workshops and seminars. The activities are to help them acknowledge their true self, believe in themselves and also put in efforts to their dreams regardless of being in a society that doesn't support women's growth. The project is to expose them to opportunities and motivations to help them thrive and achieve their goals.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ebunoluwa Olufayo is a young lady who is passionate about social impact in the health sector. She is a Nursing student at her school, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. Her drive for healthcare improvement made her join a mental health organization, Menthali, where she serves as the Director for contents. She is a seasoned writer who has taken on the speciality of lifestyle journalism and medical writing. She makes it possible that information on health issues are seen and read through her blogs and writings. Recently, she joined the team of young medical individuals building a crowd-sourcing platform dedicated to providing health solutions to underserved communities in Africa. She is working with awaHealth Africa to help restore quality access to health care in Africa through crowd-sourcing.
