United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Catch Them Young

"Catch Them Young” initiative, an engaging and impactful project designed to empower Junior Secondary School students (ages 9–13) with the knowledge and skills to lead healthier, more vibrant lives.This project aim was to improve overall well-being.reduce preventable communicable diseases and foster a healthier generation that contributes positively to community growth and development.
Through focus on key areas critical to their health and vitality which includes personal Hygiene. practical tips on staying clean and healthy and how to make informed food choices for a balanced, healthy diet through Nutrition knowledge.

About the Millennium Fellow

Temilade Adejumo is a brilliant medical student (at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology) , a meticulous writer, an astute leader and an ardent volunteer. She was born in Oyo State, Nigeria and currently resides there.Temilade has always been passionate about her advocacies for good health,female education, as well as against illicit drug abuse among other things. This drive and ardour translated itself from Temilade’s experiences in the her community; how people have been negatively affected and how this translates to an international affectation of the world at large. Throughout her high school years and
currently in her college years, she has successfully volunteered in various medical outreaches, educational programs and empowerment projects which through her outstanding leadership, she plans to continue in the future. Temilade aspires to be
in a professional field where she can cultivate
these advocacies further, and provide her own
contribution in the development of the United
Nations' Sustainable Goals.
