Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Catch Them Young
"Catch Them Young” initiative, an engaging and impactful project designed to empower Junior Secondary School students (ages 9–13) with the knowledge and skills to lead healthier, more vibrant lives.This project aim was to improve overall well-being.reduce preventable communicable diseases and foster a healthier generation that contributes positively to community growth and development.
Through focus on key areas critical to their health and vitality which includes personal Hygiene. practical tips on staying clean and healthy and how to make informed food choices for a balanced, healthy diet through Nutrition knowledge.
About the Millennium Fellow
Fatihat Akinlabi is a goal-driven young lady,a native of Ibadan,Oyo State,Nigeria. She is a part 4 student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho,Oyo State studying Nutrition and Dietetics. She is passionate about nutrition and the wellness of people around her and advocates using platforms such as volunteering for health programs and NGOs,content creation using nutrition education,public speaking skills,graphic design skills amongst others. She is a strong advocate for SDG 2&3- Zero Hunger & Good health and wellbeing. She believes that good nutrition is meant to be every human right.
Fatihat Olasubomi Akinlabi have volunteered in several health projects in her community advocating for healthy eating and lifestyle practices as well as exclusive breastfeeding.
