" As a Millennium Fellow, I am thrilled to promote equality and help make it possible for people to have better lives. With the help of like-minded individuals, I hope to work toward a lasting influence on our communities and beyond. This fellowship provides a strong platform for bringing about significant change. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Guided Growth
Guided Growth Workshops offer first-year students a safe, structured
space to discuss the unique challenges that come with starting
university and to learn practical strategies for a successful, balanced
college experience. The initiative focuses on Sustainable Development
Goal #3 – Good Health and Well-Being – by prioritizing mental wellness
as a core aspect of college success. Through a series of workshops,
students learn how to manage their time, develop stress-management
skills, and maintain good mental health practices that will serve them far
beyond their college years. Our workshops were supplemented with crash courses on academic software specific to our university.
