UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT VISHWA SHUKLA, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2024.
Lynn University | Florida, United States | Advancing SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 5 & UNAI 5

" I am a quick learner and an adaptable person. Those qualities alongwith being a Millennium Fellow will be beneficial to me in two main ways;
It will allow me to be in an active social impact setting and allow me to gain valuable knowledge about different important topics through the Fellowship sessions and a direct insight on the experience from people who have walked in the shoes that I am now putting on.
And, since the structure and requirements to become a successful fellow fits perfectly with my personal and professional mission and goals, it allows me to meet peers with shared mindset and ambitions. It will allow me to make myself available as a peer and a resource to like-minded individuals that I will find there, while playing the same roles for me. Among other things these are the two main reasons why I am excited and looking forward to be a Millennium Fellow. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: C.O.R.E.
C.O.R.E.'s mission is to empower underserved youth by improving their self-image, leading them to embody their ideal self through interactive workshops.
What makes CORE unique is that all the workshops are curated using the experiential learning approach, it is based on principles of PARTICIPATORY ACTION, and it is PEER-LED. Through interactive workshops, campus outreach, and partnerships with local non-profits like the Milagro Center and the EJS Project, C.O.R.E. set out to address this critical gap by offering programs focused on self-esteem, emotional regulation, and resilience.
