Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Health Through Clean Water And Sanitation

My project involves sensitization of people in rural areas especially in western Uganda about the dangers of poor sanitation and unclean water towards our health.
It involves teaching the people the simple methods of water purification like distillation which are home made.
It also involves how to protect the natural water sources to prevent water borne diseases.
I do monthly visits (2) to a school and do a mass teaching to the students and sometimes I have my friends who help me(not Millennium fellows) in the mass sensitization.
It has been productive in creating mass awareness about the importance of clean water and sanitation.

About the Millennium Fellow
