Millennium Fellowship Project: Bridgetheminds: Mental Health Initiative
Bridge the Minds is a mental health initiative aimed at promoting emotional well-being and creating safe spaces for open dialogue about mental health. The project seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues by raising awareness, providing education, and offering peer support and mentorship. Additionally, it connects individuals to professional mental health services and empowers my target audience to recognize the importance of mental health as a vital part of overall well-being .
About the Millennium Fellow
Natalie Charity Kisakye is a dynamic and passionate advocate committed to fostering positive change within her community. Based in Kampala, Uganda, she is dedicated to empowering young people and promoting mental well-being.
Through her initiative, Bridge the Minds, Natalie seeks to create a supportive environment where individuals can openly discuss mental health challenges and access essential resources. By building strong community connections and implementing innovative strategies, she aims to improve the overall well-being of her peers.
With a strong belief in the power of collaboration, Natalie is eager to contribute her skills and enthusiasm to the Millennium Fellowship.
