" Individual brilliance is not something that is in short supply within our communities, however, we still struggle to solve most of our collective challenges.
The Millennium Fellowship is an opportunity to aggregate individual brilliance into a collective effort to solve community challenges. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Hailnumbers
Hailnumbers is a project that aims at using data to do the following: 1. Clear the air around myths about climate change. 2. Collect, process and disperse information related to climate change and environmental quality. The data we collect is ethically obtained and is usually open-source secondary data from trusted sources. 3. Using the information collected as a tool to promote climate justice. 4. Train young data enthusiasts using real-life problems 5. Propose data-driven solutions to some of the problems that affect environmental quality in the community. I personally believe data to be one of the crucial links we have to realizing a future with minimal environmental crises.
