United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: MpaMpe

MpaMpe is an indigenous Ugandan word meaning, give me I give out. Created to solve the challenge of reduced access to quality education due to financial constraints and health affecting challenges among university students.

About the Millennium Fellow

Kagoya Whitney is a self-drive hardworking and brilliant Cytotechnology student at Makerere University Kampala Uganda. She is a Ugandan by nationality. She is passionate about empowering the girl children in away to put an end to child abuse, early teenage pregnancy. She believes together we can, with love being our ultimate foundation. She clarifies on how love has been the reason to where she is today. She is what is she; because some generous persons out there shared love with her, " I have seen love come through for me, said Kagoya"
