United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Building a Welcoming Campus For All

Building a Welcoming Campus For All (BWCFA) is a group project led by Serhat Özdoğan, Rahmi Arıbağ, Türkan Aksu, and Sude Bahçivan. BWCFA is a project initiative focused on improving the quality of education, aligning with the fourth goal of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The project's primary objective is to establish a communication network among peers from diverse cultural backgrounds on campus, thereby fostering a sustainable educational environment within the university.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sude Bahçivan is a senior student of political science and international relations. Born and raised in Izmir, Türkiye, Sude has been passionate about environmental issues and recycling since childhood. She has always strived to be an individual aware of the world around her. In addition, she enjoys keeping up with current global news. Now, Sude is focused on the question of what constitutes quality education for university students. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in international relations.
