" Because the UN offers me the opportunity to be part of the education and the system. Just being a student is not enough for this. The Sustainable Goals always aim to do better in many areas and encourage me to do so. It is very exciting to think about the education I am in and to be a part of it as a Millennium Fellow under Quality education, that is, to be able to take action and at least do something for it. At the same time, being a part of Millennium Fellowship will contribute to the development of many of my skills such as creativity, collaboration, and solution-oriented, as well as increasing my effectiveness in many areas such as business and social. "

About the Millennium Fellow
Türkan Aksu was born in Manisa, and continues her undergraduate education at
Manisa Celal Bayar University. She was full of desire and excitement for reading before she reached the age of starting school. For Türkan, who is studying political science and international relations, this department was a conscious choice. According to Türkan, who is interested in other countries of the world, their cultures and languages, the department of international relations is exactly the word that expresses this feeling. She also sees citizenship, which she sees as the centre of the world system, as the essence of politics.
