About the Millennium Fellow
Andrew Willy was born in Kibwezi, Kenya, and grew up in a challenging environment. However, he was fortunate to receive a life-changing scholarship from Inspire Spaces that supported him through high school. During this time, Andrew discovered his leadership potential and was mentored by global changemakers, which allowed him to serve alongside them in impactful projects.
Currently studying Criminology and Security Studies, Andrew is passionate about justice and ensuring that those from disadvantaged backgrounds, like himself, have access to quality education. He runs a charity foundation that visits children’s homes, helping to provide tuition support for underprivileged students. In addition, Andrew serves as the alumni leader at Inspire Spaces, where he continues to give back to the community that supported him.
Andrew’s leadership extends beyond people; through his love for hiking, he has developed a strong passion for the environment and climate change. He is dedicated to making Kenya's parks cleaner and more sustainable by focusing on clean energy solutions and effective waste management practices. His goal is to create long-lasting change—not just for individuals, but for the environment as well.
Andrew is committed to building a better future by serving both people and the planet, using his skills in leadership, justice, and environmental stewardship to drive meaningful change.
