" As the saying goes, 'curiosity is the mother of invention '. I feel that the millennium
fellowship is a good chance to connect with the brilliant minds of the world. This will
offer a chance for me to explore the different spheres of life and understand how
humans reason and respond to different situations. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health and Reproductive Care

It worked to sensitize the youth on the best practices for sexual health and also reproductive care. We also sensitized them on the importance of mental health and also organized counselling for those struggling with Mental Health care.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sammy Muchiri Mwangi was born in 2003 on the fifth of December. Sammy was the
first child born to a Christian couple consisting of a young man who was working as a
volunteer then and a young lady who was a teacher by then. Sammy was then joined
by a younger brother in the year 2005 and a last born who was a lady in 2019. Sammy
always grew up with expectations from his family which he did his best to live up to.
From childhood Sammy felt the need to make an impact to the world especially
through the field of research in medicine. He would spend hours upon hours reading
books and was supported by his father who frequently bought him educational books.
Sammy was always proud of his family for their unwavering support for his dreams. He
thus strives to make them proud some day because they have sacrificed so much for
his dreams.
