Mount Kenya University | Thika, Kenya | Advancing SDG 3, SDG 5 & UNAI 3

" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a chance to turn my
challenging upbringing into a source of strength and inspiration for others. Growing up
in Kenya with limited resources, I learned the value of resilience and the importance of
giving back. This fellowship allows me to use my experiences to advocate for those
who, like me, come from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring that they too have the
opportunity to rise above their circumstances and make a difference in their
communities "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health and Reproductive Care
It worked to sensitize the youth on the best practices for sexual health and also reproductive care. We also sensitized them on the importance of mental health and also organized counselling for those struggling with Mental Health care.
