" It's as simple as thid, "Be the change you want to see". My passion for my desired projects is helping me tackle SDGs 3 & 5 by ensuring there are equal opportunities at well-being for all. Coming from a place where mental health resources are scarce and the mental health needs of men are constantly being ignored, being a fellow will push me to break through barriers, challenge the system and be a force for the change I want to see. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Mindful Men Matter

Mindful Men Matter is a mobile application designed to address the mental health challenges faced by men in Zimbabwe. Recognizing the stigma and lack of access to mental health resources, this app aims to provide a safe, confidential, and accessible platform for men to seek help, share their experiences, and receive professional guidance. With Zimbabwe's rising suicide rates and mental health issues, particularly among men, Mindful Men Matter is positioned to fill a critical gap in the country's healthcare system.
