UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT TANAKA NDAGURWA, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2024.
Midlands State University | Gweru, Zimbabwe | Advancing SDG 3, SDG 17 & UNAI 9

" I am a firm believer that cultivating holistic wellness translates to actualising the change we desire to see; as society is a reflection of the state of its individuals. As such, being a millennium fellow will provide me with a plethora of like-minded people who are championing various causes that bear weight on the quality of our lives. In realising the interconnected nature of our existence, I trust that we can utilise influence, power and resources, to foster unity in the attainment of SDGs. After all, concern for the well-being of others greatly attributes to success for all. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Walk The Talk
Project 'Walk The Talk,' championing SDG3, had two core areas of focus which were wellness sessions for caregivers of patients with renal failure at Gweru Provincial Hospital; as well as conversations with the student board at Midlands State University on the intersection between sexual reproductive health and mental health.
