Millennium Fellowship Project: Menstrual Care For Young Girls
This project involving giving awareness about menstrual hygiene to primary school girls who have attained menarche and also offer free sanitary pads.
About the Millennium Fellow
Yokebed Benester is the young brilliant and enthusiastic medical student at Muhimbili university of health and allied sciences in Tanzania.she was born in one of the smallest villages in Mara region Tanzania, her dedications towards growth determined her invaluable efforts at her ordinary level and high school. Her willingness towards serving the community as a health advocate and her deepest desires of extending and joining hands with people who are said to be disabled, thou in her perspective she calls them "people who are differently able ".explains the step she took to join Millennium Fellowship to get knowledge, experience, and mentors to equip her with the skills which will enable her Serve the community .
