United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Go Green Initiative
Go Green Initiative is dedicated to raising awareness about environmental protection and combating climate change through education, tree planting, and public engagement. We aim to foster a greener future by empowering students and the broader community to take actionable steps towards sustainability.
Project Goals for August-December 2024.
1.Raise awareness about environmental protection in five academic institutions, reaching over 2,000 students.
2.Plant 100 trees in the five selected academic institutions.
3.Conduct a radio awareness campaign on environmental protection and climate change, reaching over 6 million people.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anguali David hails from Masindi, western Uganda. He is a 21 year old lugbara who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Nursing Science He is a person of self discipline who cherishes self respect, humanity and above all a health environment which therefore saw him interest himself at the Go Green Initiative
