United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Ment Project

Youth Ment is an initiative focused on promoting youth mentorship to inspire students across Malawi to pursue higher education, with particular emphasis on closing gender gaps in education and STEM fields.

About the Millennium Fellow

Chimwemwe Jussa, a passionate Malawian innovator and Millennium Fellow (Class of 2024), is driven to harness chemical engineering to fuel sustainable progress. Currently studying at the Malawi University of Science and Technology, Chimwemwe tackles global challenges with courage and resilience. With a keen eye for creative solutions, Chimwemwe seeks to amplify their impact, forge meaningful connections, and champion a brighter future for all through the Millennium Fellowship. With a unique blend of academic rigor, cultural insight, and determination, Chimwemwe is poised to make a lasting difference.
