United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Ment Project

Youth Ment is an initiative focused on promoting youth mentorship to inspire students across Malawi to pursue higher education, with particular emphasis on closing gender gaps in education and STEM fields.

About the Millennium Fellow

Estone chimaliro is a bright ,young man who is passionate to contribute to the world through his engineering studies.
He was born in Lilongwe the capital city of Malawi in a family of four children.
He is now in tertiary education pursuing bachelor's of engineering in manufacturing engineering, fourth year of study at Malawi university of science and technology (MUST).
He believes that knowledge and skills gained in studies are of zero impact if no hardworking and team spirit has been applied.
