About the Millennium Fellow

Jacqueline Kanjoka is a diligent person who is very passionate about STEM education and people, she believes that life is about a community of people and we are all brought down here to make an impact and influence on each other. She was born and raised in Malawi, the warm heart of Africa. Currently, she is studying computer systems and security at Malawi University of Science and Technology(MUST). In her learning and growing journey, Jacqueline has always had the ardent desire to work hard and make an impact in Malawian societies and the world at large. She believes in showing up on the young generation to preach and advocate about STEM education to them in order to cultivate a mindset of curiosity and adaptability in them at an early stage. This burning desire came to life after she realised that their is a huge gender STEM gap in Malawi and Africa as a whole, so there is a need to bridge the gap and encourage inclusitivity of both girls and boys. Jacque aspires to continue advocating for this and build a strong profession out of it and on top of that become a very reliable cyber security analyst.
