Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Ment Project

Youth Ment is an initiative focused on promoting youth mentorship to inspire students across Malawi to pursue higher education, with particular emphasis on closing gender gaps in education and STEM fields.

About the Millennium Fellow

Maureen Chimaliro is a distinguished bright young lady and globally a competitive biomedical engineering student at Malawi university of science and technology. She was born in Rumphi, a district to the northern part of Malawi. Resides in Mzimba, and is currently studying at malawi university of science and technology, Malawi; truly a citizen of the world. Being passionate and ddiven individual, Maureen has always been having that desire to develop and uplift the community I was growing up in. Being a biomedical engineer its my vision to establish sustainable healtcare initiatives, developinga affordable equipments and collaborating with the local organizations to enhance community well-being. Maureen aspireto empower youth and women through education and skills training
