United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Ment Project

Youth Ment is an initiative focused on promoting youth mentorship to inspire students across Malawi to pursue higher education, with particular emphasis on closing gender gaps in education and STEM fields.

About the Millennium Fellow

Wezi Ndalama is a driven and compassionate individual from Malawi, currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering at the Malawi University of Science and Technology. As a third-year student, Wezi is dedicated to making a positive impact in her community. She is passionate about empowering the girl child and is an active member of a club that provides support and resources to young girls. Through her endeavors, Wezi aims to reach out to as many people as possible, inspiring and uplifting those around her. Her ultimate goal is to create a lasting difference in the lives of others.
