MaCare, a hybrid information & referral platform: to avail information to mothers & for improved follow up, referral linkage and timely MCH Education to all pregnant women.
About the Millennium Fellow
Charles Lugaaju is pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST). He is passionate about improving health outcomes and access to quality care for underserved populations around the world. He is also an alumnus of the Aspire Leaders Program, a prestigious leadership development initiative that equips young African leaders with the skills and mindset to create positive change in their communities.
As a Toastmaster, Charles has honed his communication and public speaking skills, and has participated in several contests and events. Charles has a special interest in global surgery, research, mental health and artificial intelligence.
