Millennium Fellowship Project: Craftyshop Uganda
Craftyshop Uganda is a social enterprise initiative dedicated to empowering local artisans, particularly youth and women in rural areas, by providing them with a platform to market and sell their handmade crafts. The project leverages innovation and entrepreneurship to promote cultural preservation, reduce unemployment, and foster community-driven economic development.
About the Millennium Fellow
Emmanuel Isaac Habi is a passionate and driven student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Mbarara University and born of Kayunga, Uganda. Throughout his academic journey, Emmanuel has demonstrated strong leadership skills, serving as a Guild Representative for his course and the Class President for his cohort and also held the prestigious role of President of the Association of Pharmaceutical Science Students at Mbarara University, where he has been a strong advocate for social development, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Beyond academics, Emmanuel is the visionary behind CraftyShop Uganda, a startup that embodies his commitment to fostering creativity and economic empowerment in his community. His work reflects a deep dedication to making a positive impact in both pharmaceutical sciences and the broader society.
