Millennium Fellowship Project: EcoMobile Market

EcoMobile Market is a sustainability-focused initiative aimed at addressing food insecurity and promoting environmental consciousness. The project operates as a mobile market that redistributes surplus food from local farms, grocery stores, and restaurants to underserved communities at minimal or no cost. By doing so, EcoMobile Market reduces food waste while improving access to nutritious and affordable food for individuals living in food deserts or facing economic challenges.
Additionally, the project integrates educational workshops on zero-waste practices and sustainable living, empowering community members to adopt environmentally friendly habits. It is designed to serve low-income families, individuals in underserved areas, and youth, fostering a sense of agency and awareness about sustainability and food equity.
EcoMobile Market envisions a circular and equitable food system where communities thrive through access to essential resources and knowledge.
