" From a very young age, I have participated in various social activities, either initiated by myself or through other groups. I never engaged in these projects out of obligation but because I genuinely believed I could make a difference. This is why I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow. I want to learn, expand, and advance my work to make a tangible impact. I have been closely associated with orphanages for various reasons and hope that, through these few months as a Millennium Fellow, I can support underprivelged children in a way that empowers them, fulfills them, and helps them realize their potential. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pathways To Potential

Our initiative aims to provide career exploration opportunities for high school students from low-income backgrounds (grades 9-12), helping them identify their interests and future career paths. Many students in underserved communities lack access to career guidance, mentorship, and resources, which limits their potential for success. Through interactive workshops, industry visits, and the creation of resource materials like guidebooks, zines, and a website, we will empower students to explore diverse career options and understand the steps needed to achieve their goals. Additionally, we will compile information on scholarships and financially accessible career paths. By exposing students to a variety of opportunities and providing them with the tools to make informed decisions, our initiative aims to break the cycle of limited economic mobility and create pathways for long-term success and economic growth for these students, ultimately contributing to greater social and economic equity.
