Through the Millennium Fellowship, we will gain distinct leadership skills and turn ideas and experiences into sustainable and impactful initiatives.
Being part of the cohort is a leverage to connect, learn and grow. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Teen Girls' Health and Hygiene

Our project, Teen Girls’ Health And Hygiene empowered 30 teenage girls in an internally displaced people camp through education, resources, and storytelling, addressing their often-overlooked needs in sexual and reproductive health, and overall well-being. Based on need-based assessment from the community leader and the girls, we grew plants by ourselves and nurtured them till it was time for the project and the plants were given to the girls in view of starting small community farms. We also educated them on menstrual hygiene, Sexual and reproductive health and hand washing. We concluded by storytelling and sharing female products and clothing.
