" "Meaningful change begins with a commitment to justice and equality. The Millennium Fellowship provides the opportunity to work with like-minded people and channel our combined passion for advancing international law and human rights to address the plight of refugees." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Rubaroo
Our Millennium Fellowship project focuses on addressing the challenges faced by refugees in Delhi, particularly Pakistani Hindu refugees. Conducted by a five-member team, the project includes field visits, webinars, fundraisers, and the creation of a documentary and report. It aims to raise awareness and provide much needed support to refugees in their integration journey.
About the Millennium Fellow
Reyansh Khandelwal is a 2nd year law student at National Law University, Delhi, India. Reyansh is passionate about International law and human rights and has actively contributed through legal research and advocacy during his internships in places like State Legal Aid Service Cells. His experience exposed him to the ground realities of the legal sector and the extent of efforts that would be required to bring a drastic transformation in a developing country with a massive population like India. Through his project, Reyansh hopes to put a face to an often dehumanized issue of refugees and their realities.
