" Refugee and immigrant issue has been close to my heart for numerous reasons, especially influenced by personal experiences. As a Millennium Fellow, I will try to document the hardships facedd by refugees which often gets sidelined and endeavour to push for their basic human rights. The opportunity given to me will be used in giving their voices a much-needed forum. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Rubaroo

Our Millennium Fellowship project focuses on addressing the challenges faced by refugees in Delhi, particularly Pakistani Hindu refugees. Conducted by a five-member team, the project includes field visits, webinars, fundraisers, and the creation of a documentary and report. It aims to raise awareness and provide much needed support to refugees in their integration journey.

About the Millennium Fellow

Srishti Gaur is a second-year law student at National Law University, Delhi. With a deep passion for human rights, she aims to utilize her interests for societal betterment. Her journey into the realms of human rights and social justice began with literature where she first explored the role of legal frameworks in advancing these causes. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to a society that is more just, equitable, and responsive to the needs of all its members.
