" I'm eager to be a Millennium Fellow because it brings together everything I’m passionate about—making a real impact in the world and growing alongside people who share that same drive. It's not just about improving my adaptability and coordination skills; it's about being part of a global community where we all learn from each other and work together to create something meaningful. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Impact Initiators - Project Shurjomukhi
We are 'Impact Initiators'; our mission and vision are to impact the lives of orphan children through educational programs and career counseling. Our approach is holistic, meaning we understand the child comprehensively rather than just one perspective.Project Shurjomukhi was conceptualized with the aim of empowering children through knowledge and essential life skills into different stages. We identified three key focus areas: internet safety, financial literacy, and mental well-being, based on research and needs assessment. And, through careful considerations these topics were selected to address critical gaps and provide children with tools to navigate challenges effectively.
