" I am working on a project designed to support orphans by providing them with essential skills for surviving and thriving in the world. This initiative aims to equip them with practical knowledge and resources to build a better future. In addition, this project will help me develop my personal skills in leadership and project management, and will enhance my ability to make a positive impact and grow as a changemaker. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Impact Initiators - Project Shurjomukhi
We are 'Impact Initiators'; our mission and vision are to impact the lives of orphan children through educational programs and career counseling. Our approach is holistic, meaning we understand the child comprehensively rather than just one perspective.Project Shurjomukhi was conceptualized with the aim of empowering children through knowledge and essential life skills into different stages. We identified three key focus areas: internet safety, financial literacy, and mental well-being, based on research and needs assessment. And, through careful considerations these topics were selected to address critical gaps and provide children with tools to navigate challenges effectively.
