Millennium Fellowship Project: Impact Initiators - Project Shurjomukhi

We are 'Impact Initiators'; our mission and vision are to impact the lives of orphan children through educational programs and career counseling. Our approach is holistic, meaning we understand the child comprehensively rather than just one perspective.Project Shurjomukhi was conceptualized with the aim of empowering children through knowledge and essential life skills into different stages. We identified three key focus areas: internet safety, financial literacy, and mental well-being, based on research and needs assessment. And, through careful considerations these topics were selected to address critical gaps and provide children with tools to navigate challenges effectively.

About the Millennium Fellow

Atia Fiaroz is an outgoing and enthusiastic student doing her bachelor's in Business Administration at North South University. Since a very young age, she has been working on her leadership skills and has acted in many platforms as a competent leader. She loves to make connections worldwide and has made many lifelong friends from international conferences she has attended. She is an active volunteer and changemaker, continuously working on development projects aligning with the United Nation's SDGs. She has successfully planned and executed a development project for a remote community and introduced menstrual health and hygiene to them. She is very proud of this little milestone of hers, and through this, she got a boost of motivation that she, too, can be the cause of a better future.
