" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique platform to
collaborate with like-minded individuals who are passionate about creating a positive
impact. I believe that by harnessing the power of technology and innovation, we can
address some of the world's most pressing challenges and drive meaningful change. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Smart Road
The Smart Road Mission is a modern traffic management system designed to enhance
road efficiency and safety by utilizing intelligent technologies. One of its key features
is the ability to dynamically change traffic signal timing based on real-time traffic flow.
In addition to signal optimization, the Smart Road Mission also incorporates a system
to prioritize emergency vehicles, such as ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars.
When an emergency vehicle is detected, the system can create a dedicated route by
adjusting traffic signals to provide a green light along the vehicle’s path.
