" I am very excited to be a Millennium Fellow. It's all because of the feeling of being got an opportunity to help others and impact the lives of people and make it better. Working with a team of like minded individuals will make it more effective and beautiful.
I do the work I do because of the satisfactory feeling which comes after helping someone. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sarbat Da Bhala

As a Millennium Fellow, I led the *Sarbat Da Bhala* project, dedicated to promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Quality Education. The initiative focused on providing accessible, equitable, and high-quality educational resources to underprivileged children. Collaborating with a diverse team of passionate volunteers, I organized workshops, interactive sessions, and resource distribution drives to ensure learning opportunities reached marginalized communities. Beyond education, *Sarbat Da Bhala* embraced a holistic approach, incorporating activities aimed at fostering community well-being and addressing other critical SDGs, such as reduced inequalities and sustainable community development. We also partnered with local organizations to amplify impact and create a sustainable framework for long-term positive change. Through this initiative, we successfully empowered children with the tools and knowledge to unlock their potential while fostering a culture of inclusivity and social responsibility among volunteers. The project emphasized collective action, underpinned by the spirit of “Sarbat Da Bhala”—the” well-being of all.
