United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: TechEmpower EduReach

TechEmpower EduReach is a community-driven initiative to bridge the digital divide by providing essential digital literacy training to underprivileged students in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad region. The project aims to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in the modern digital world through hands-on training, access to technology, and personalized mentorship. The project leverages existing resources, such as school classrooms and volunteers, to keep costs low while maximizing impact. By empowering students with these vital skills, TechEmpower EduReach seeks to create long-term opportunities for education and employment.

About the Millennium Fellow

Muhammad Hamza is a passionate, optimistic, and enthusiastic individual. He was born in Pakistan Punjab, Sheikhupura, starting the basis of his academic career in medical studies at Ideal Group of Colleges Sheikhupura, and currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in Psychology from the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), Islamabad, and currently residing in Islamabad. From dreaming to bringing a change in his society he flatters his wings with social action plans and Community engagement projects focusing on the mental health of students, young individuals, and human rights in the community, with the vision of improving himself and working effectively more with other passionate individuals who share the same goal globally for the peace and development of underdeveloped nations aligning with UN's Sustainable development goals.
