" Iam excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it allows me to merge my passion for
nutrition with the opportunity to contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable
Development Goals. By focusing on empowering communities for sustainable nutrition,
I aim to address food insecurity and promote healthier lifestyles. This fellowship is a
chance to create meaningful change, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their
circumstances, has access to the knowledge and resources they need to make
informed food choices and lead healthier lives. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Composting for Change

"Composting for Change" focused on Sustainable Food Waste Reduction, Food
Hygiene, and Affordable Organic Nutrition Projects. Through sessions, the project
informed communities of composting as a solution to food wastage, proper food hygienepractices to prevent spoilage, and how to grow organic food at home. The project also included a demonstration of 'How to Make Compost'. This initiative hopefully empowered individuals to improve their health and environment while reducing environmental impact.
