" "As a passionate advocate for sustainable development, I believe that educating young minds is crucial for creating a greener future. Through my project, I aim to empower primary school children with the knowledge and skills to become active stewards of the environment, tackling pressing issues like waste management and climate change. By inspiring a love for nature and a sense of responsibility, I hope to cultivate a generation of eco-conscious leaders who will drive positive change and create a more sustainable world for all." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Trash to Treasure
Trash to Treasure is the Millennium Fellowship project led by four Millennium fellows from national university of medical sciences, Rawalpindi. Our project's main aim is to educate the leaders of our future generations, to reduce waste production, and to educte people how they can make treasure form their own waste. So, basically we organized different sessions among primary school children where we taugt them about 5 r's reduce, reuse, recyle, rot, and raise awareness. We also have done various fun activities with them which make the learning process more engaging. At the end of the sessions every participant told us about one ecofriendly habbit that they will adopt in future. We visited five different primary schools in rural areas and administration of these schools assure us that they will send their waste for recycling.
