United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Restoring Schools Inspiring Minds

“Restoring Schools, Inspiring Minds” is a sub project of Millennium Fellowship program under UN. It mainly addresses SDG 4 though it also touches on other SDG’s 6, 1 and 10. There are a lot of primary schools in rural areas near Islamabad that are equipped with inadequate facilities & are lacking essential supplies. This project will include repainting, refurbishing of classroom furniture, and refreshing the water filtration system. Students will be supplied with bags, stationery & basic items that can last for at least a year.

About the Millennium Fellow

Muhammad Rahim Tahir is a dedicated law student at the National University of Sciences and Technology Islamabad with a passion for contributing to judicial reforms in Pakistan, aiming to advance a fairer and more transparent legal system. He was born in a small city near Lahore, and currently resides in Islamabad. From his childhood he has been taking part in social service projects. Whether it's forestation drive or collecting funds for a special children school in his homecity Okara, he fulfilled his task with deep passion and commitment throughout the process. His goal is to use his skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact on the legal system, ensuring that it serves the people more effectively and justly.
