" My only goal in life is to bring change to the society I grew up in . Being a Millennium Fellows is a dream come true and I see that as a stepping stone into achieving my goal. The skills I'm to gain from being a Millennium Fellows will help be bring positive change to my community . "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Unleashing The Woman Within

Unleashing The Woman Within is a project working on empowering youths particularly the girl child in my community. The idea comes after realising that most of the young ladies in my community back at home do not get to finish school and get to be who they are. In an attempt to address this I came uo with the idea of raising awareness and try to make these ladies see the bigger and start valuing education. I believe women are stronger if empowered and hence empowering women in my community will help create impact in my community in the long run.

About the Millennium Fellow
